VAPA VISION

 

Poway Unified School District has created a fabulous district-wide program for all the elementary schools.  About twice a month, a team of highly qualified and trained Poway teachers will arrive at Creekside to teach grade-level lessons in P.E., visual and performing arts, STEM, and coding.  The VAPA student time will be an hour and 45 minutes with the VAPA teacher while the Creekside teachers are released to collaborate in grade level teams.  The time with the VAPA teacher will begin in the regular classroom and then different activities will take the students to the field, MPR, and/or computer lab.  Your child will get to know their VAPA teacher because each teacher is assigned to a specific classroom for the whole year.
